A question how can I use the information I learned today to use with my phonics intervention classes. Last year some of these classed worked on blends such as the r blends (br words, cr words, crow) and the l blends such as fl (flag, flow,) cl blends (class, clever ))
Perhaps a wiki in which students brainstorm and share blend words would be helpful...

I agree that a wiki would be a great tool for this purpose. Students could take pictures or words with different blends or just draw pictures of words with the different blends and post them on the site for others to see. That would be an excellent step to venture off into this new arena. An assignment like that would be of a very manageable size and scope for getting started. You could add on to this by having another class participate as well by adding their work to the site.
